How to choose a smart toilet by features
It is easiest to go from what your bathroom dictates to what is a matter of taste. The installation type, flush and outlet decide which model will fit at all. Size, features and design decide which of the suitable ones you will like more.
- Installation: wall-hung on an in-wall frame or floor-standing.
- Flush and water pressure: with a built-in tank or tankless with an impulse valve.
- Sewer outlet: into the wall or into the floor.
- Bathroom size: the depth of the model.
- Features that differ between models.
- Budget: prices are on each model's page.
Installation: wall-hung or floor-standing
A wall-hung toilet is mounted on an in-wall frame, a metal frame hidden in the wall: the floor under it stays free and is easier to clean. It suits a renovation where the wall is being closed up anyway. Whether you need a frame and which one to choose is covered in the article In-Wall Frame for a Smart Toilet.
A floor-standing toilet is installed like a regular one: it needs a water supply and a 220 V socket nearby. It suits replacing an old toilet without touching the wall. All models are collected in wall-hung and floor-standing smart toilets.
Flush and water pressure
Models with a built-in tank flush at any water pressure: the tank refills between flushes. All D-series wall-hung models have a 5.3 L tank; among the floor-standing models, the O92B and O93B have a tank. They are the choice for homes with low or unstable pressure.
Tankless floor-standing models flush through an impulse valve straight from the water supply, so they need good flow pressure, about 18 L/min. It is easy to check: hold an empty 5 L bottle under the hose that will go to the toilet for 15 seconds. If 4.5 L flows in, the flush will work. More in the article Tankless Impulse Toilet and in the collections of toilets with a tank and without a tank.
Outlet: into the wall or into the floor
The outlet is where the sewer pipe goes. On wall-hung models it always goes into the wall, through the in-wall frame. Floor-standing models come in both versions: if your pipe comes out of the floor, choose the versions with the letter F in the name, the O92F and O93F.
Size
Most Kinematika Pro models are 588–590 mm deep, about 59 cm instead of the usual 70 cm of a regular toilet. In a tight bathroom this is noticeable: more space is left to the door or the bathtub. Tick "Up to 59 cm deep" to keep only these models. The dimensions of every model are on its page and in the comparison.
Features: what every model has and how they differ
The essentials are in every model: a bidet with heated water and a dryer, voice control in Russian, UV sterilization of the nozzle, an automatic lid, auto flush, a night light, a foam shield, the Tornado swirl flush and a battery for up to 50 flushes during a power outage. So there is no need to filter by these features: any model in the list has them.
- Feminine wash: not every model has it, tick it in the selector.
- Hot-and-cold massage in the bidet mode: the D92 and the O92 series models.
- Colour and design: white, grey and versions with a black panel; the colours of each model are on its page.

Questions
How do I choose a smart toilet if I don't know my water pressure?
Check it with a bottle: an empty 5 L bottle held under the hose that will go to the toilet should fill with 4.5 L in 15 seconds. If it does, tankless models will work too. If not, or if the pressure fluctuates, choose a model with a built-in tank.
What is the difference between a wall-hung and a floor-standing smart toilet?
A wall-hung toilet hangs on an in-wall frame, and every wall-hung model has a built-in 5.3 L tank. A floor-standing toilet is installed like a regular one and comes with or without a tank, with a wall or floor outlet.
Which smart toilet suits a small bathroom?
A model about 59 cm deep: most of ours are, tick "Up to 59 cm deep". A wall-hung model also frees up the floor under it.
Will a smart toilet flush during a power outage?
Yes: every model has a battery. It powers the flush (up to 50 times) and raising and lowering the lid and seat; the other functions switch off to save the charge.
